- "Let's see… Nine inches, apple wood, dragon heartstring core. Is that correct?"
- — Jacob's sibling[src]
This wand was nine inches, made of applewood and had a dragon heartstring core. This wand belonged to a witch or wizard who visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Magic in 1990.[1]
History[]
During the course of Jacob's sibling and Nymphadora Tonks's Ministry student programme in their seventh year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, one of their first assignments was to help Eric Munch register wands at the Security Desk; this wand was one of them.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- This wand's characteristics are identical to the applewood and dragon heartstring wand (I) tried out by Jacob's sibling before their first year,[2] making it possible that they are the same. This is also supported by Garrick Ollivander's statement to Harry Potter that every Ollivander wand is unique.[3] Though this wand's flexibility is unknown.
