Arbroath smokies are traditional smoked haddock from Arbroath, Scotland. The fish was salted, then smoked over a hardwood fire.[1]

History[]

In the 1890–1891 school year, a house-elf named Feenky talked to a Hogwarts student about how Helga Hufflepuff's recipe of Arbroath smokies had been growing a following.[2]
