Elton Elderberry, an experienced Ministry Archivist
An Archivist was a wizard or witch employed in the French Ministry of Magic Records Room[1] and the Ministry of Magic Archives at the British Ministry of Magic.[2] They preserved collections of historical records and documents in the Archives.[3]
History[]
In 1927, Melusine worked as an archivist in the French Ministry of Magic Records Room.[1]
Elton Elderberry was one of the Ministry's most knowledgeable Archvists by the 1990–1991 school year, having worked for several hundred years, allowing him to amass much knowledge.[2] Olivia Green, who he had previously mentored at the Ministry, took Jacob's sibling to meet him at the Ministry in the 1990–1991 school year, when they wished to know about the ancient Crown of Mneme.[2] After informing them about the crown's history and power, he took them into the Archvies with his trusted dog Herbert Chewsworthy III, and allowed them to search the Archives for the information they desired about the crown's creator, Dai Ryusaki.[3]
