Asuka was a Chaser for the Japanese Quidditch team, the Toyohashi Tengu.[2]
Biography[]
Asuka was the best friend of Chiyo Kogawa. They were both being trained to play for Toyohashi Tengu, a very successful Quidditch team in Japan. Asuka was to be a Chaser. She was considered a great player and Chiyo once watched her do a corkscrew through three players and score before the other players could turn their heads.[2]
However, she grew increasingly nervous when try-outs for the Tengu started to approach which Chiyo did not notice until Asuka cheated their way in. She had wanted her and Chiyo to both get selected by the Tengu so she slipped Felix Felicis into their tea before try-outs to ensure they both showed off their skills. However, Chiyo noticed the difference and confronted Asuka after try-outs. She admitted to what she did which caused Chiyo to withdraw from consideration. However, she did not snitch on her best friend and Asuka played for the Tengu for two seasons.[2]
