The Athenaeum was an underground location below the Restricted Section in the Hogwarts Library.[1]
History[]
During the 1890–1891 school year, the new fifth-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry discovered the Athenaeum by travelling through a portal located under the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts Library.[1]
