This attack occurred in the Tianzi Mountains in Kweilin, China, during which Newton Scamander fought with Gellert Grindelwald's acolytes for a baby Qilin that he had found.[1]

Credence, Rosier and Carrow in China
In 1932, Aurelius Dumbledore, Vinda Rosier, and Carrow went to the forests of China under the orders of Gellert Grindelwald to capture a newborn Qilin, where they saw Newt Scamander next to a mother Qilin and her newborn was surprised. Although Newt was able to run away with the newborn Qilin and his suitcase, Carrow managed to catch him after chasing him, but Newt threw her away with the help of the natural resources around him. Newt was stunned and fell into the lake and the acolytes took the Qilin, but they didn't know that another Qilin was born - a twin.
