"Now, I must warn you that the most stringent anti-cheating charms have been applied to your examination papers. Auto-Answer Quills are banned from the examination hall, as are Remembralls, Detachable Cribbing Cuffs and Self-Correcting Ink."
—Professor McGonagall talking to the fifth years about the upcoming O.W.L.'s[src]

Auto-Answer Quills are magical Quills that most likely write out the answer to questions automatically. In 1996, they were banned during Ordinary Wizarding Level examinations at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[1]
