Baguettes Magiques de Cosme Acajor was a wand shop located in Rue Girardon, Place Cachée. The shop was established in 1614 by Cosme Acajor.[1][2]
Wands[]
The wands sold at the shop were stored in triangular, prism-shaped wand boxes, all orange, dark blue and purple, with labels on the front. There were made from elm, elderberry, vine and ivy wood.[3] The cores used were taken from the phoenix, Abraxan, Matagot, Basilisk,[4] and siren.[5] It was possible that students of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic purchased their wands here.
History[]
In 1927, the French wizarding newspaper Le Cri de la Gargouille reported that someone broke into the wand shop and stole no less than two hundred and ninety-seven wands. Even so, the wand shop was still able to operate as normal, as Cosme Acajor at one point was seen outside of his shop and talking to a customer around the same time.
