- "Mr Dursley, however, however, had a perfectly normal, owl-free morning. He yelled at five different people. He made several important telephone calls and shouted a bit more. He was in a very good mood until lunchtime, when he thought he'd stretch his legs and walk across the road to buy himself a bun from the bakery."

Bakery & Sandwich Bar[2] was a bakery in Surrey in the 1980s, located across the road from the Grunnings main offices[1] and next to G. Brundall and Sons.[2]
Biography[]
On 1 November 1981, Vernon Dursley visited this bakery to purchase a large doughnut, after forgetting about the unusual events while working in his office. Just outside the bakery there was a furtive discussion among several witches and wizards in long cloaks who mentioned the names "Harry" and "Potter". As Harry Potter was Dursley's nephew by marriage, this was the causation of some disturbance for him.[1]
