Banga O'Deluga was a Ravenclaw student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1990s. During the 1996–1997 school year, he, Daisy Corran, and Justin Steele gave Harry Potter two Beater's bats in exchange for six Gobstones while in the Paved Courtyard. Later that same term, he could be found in the Great Hall, where he liked to play Gobstones with other students.

The name "Banga" is a Shona name meaning "sword".[3][4] Today, the name is most common in Zimbabwe, and other areas of Southern Africa.[4]
