Bettina Schön (19 September 1926–2 February 2021) was a German actress and voice actress who voiced Minerva McGonagall in the German-dubbed versions of the first three Harry Potter films.[1]
She was the standard German dubbing voice of the actresses Maggie Smith, Anne Bancroft and Olympia Dukakis, as well as one of the most senior German voice actresses, beginning in 1949. Other famous dubbing roles include Aunt May in Spider-Man and Dr. Katherine Pulaski in Star Trek: The Next Generation.[1]
She died on 2 February 2021 at the age of 94.[1]
