Bewildering Blooms was a magical plant shop located in the all-wizarding village Hogsmeade and owned by Yubert Thorne during the 2010s.[1] It sold a variety of magical plants, including Dirigible Plums, Fanged Geraniums, and Puffapods.[2]
History[]
In the 2010–2011 school year, a Muggle-born student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry visited the shop and was greeted by the shopkeeper Yubert Thorne. At first, he offered them a very expensive Dirigible Plum but they couldn't afford it. Yubert then offered them a thriving Puffapod for free, considering they were "just a student". However, the plant looked dead and he explained that it was his final one and that customers kept bumping into them which made them flower early.[2]
Bewildering Blooms also sold Bloom For You plants that Yubert created himself. After it was revealed that he bred them to cause the Mysterious Malady and he was sent to Azkaban, the shop was taken care of by Thorne's house-elf, Gabbey.[3]
