- "Nicely done! It looks like a delivery slip and it's addressed to Bilius! It says: 'Your package has been delivered to the location below,' and then there are just a bunch of numbers! 4… 9… 3… You're right, […] it looks like some kind of code! It seems important — we just need to find a way to make sense of it."
- — Mathilda Grimblehawk, once her partner had fixed and cleaned up the piece of paper[src]
This delivery slip, addressed to Bilius Finbok, was found by Ministry of Magic investigators Mathilda Grimblehawk and her partner at St. David's Hospital, when they were investigating Finbok's mysterious disappearance.[1]
The sheet of paper had been torn and splattered in ink, so it had to be repaired and cleaned up before they could read it. Once they did, they realised that the details on it were in some kind of code.[1] The code was cracked by Sage Bragnam who, remembering about a past case of his in France, realised those were coordinates — and that they pointed to a plot of farmland where Muggles had been reporting a mysterious disease was affecting the livestock.[1] Further investigation revealed the presence of a Secret Owlery on the spot.[2]
