Black pepper (binomial name Piper nigrum) is a flowering vine in the family Piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning.[2]
Uses[]
It was a flavour of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans.[3] Pepper was also used to treat a dragon of Squabbs Syndrome, by keeping the dragon warm and feeding it plenty of chilli, pepper and a crate of rum four times a day.[1]
