Black pudding is a type of sausage made by cooking animal blood with a filler like meat, bread, or potato until it is thick enough to squeeze into a casing.[2] It is typically served as part of a traditional full breakfast in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.[2]
History
A patron proclaimed Jacob's sibling almost knocking his black pudding on the floor, during their first visit to the Three Broomsticks Inn in the 1986–1987 school year.[1]
Ron Weasley helped himself to some black pudding after passing on bouillabaisse at the feast that preceded the announcement of the Triwizard Champions on 30 October, during the 1994–1995 school year.[3]
