- Peregrine: "Now to complete the potion... Blackthorn, phoenix feather, unyielding. You may recognise this wand, [Jacob's sibling]."
- Verucca Buckthorn-Snyde: "We obtained it not too long ago, with the held of one Zenith Xeep!"
- Jacob's sibling: "The break-in at Ollivanders!"
- Peregrine: "Precisely. This is an especially powerful potion, and it can only be finished with an especially powerful wand"

This wand was manufactured by Garrick Ollivander and was placed for sale in his wand shop Ollivanders in Diagon Alley in the early 1990s.[2]
History[]
The wand was stolen from Ollivanders by Zenith Xeep during the 1990–1991 school year.[2] It was replaced by a misfiring wand.[1] She handed the real wand over to Verucca Buckthorn-Snyde in Knockturn Alley later during a meeting.[2]
Peregrine later used this wand to complete Dai Ryusaki's mind-enhancing potion in the Shrieking Shack, having obtained it from Verucca, as the powerful potion needed an equally powerful wand to finish.[3]
