Blind Spot was a Quidditch tactic specifically designed to oppose Erika Rath, who had an area of blind spot around her shoulder.[1]
History[]
During the 1985–1986 school year, Jacob's sibling's House's Quidditch team found out that Erika Rath's weakness was her area of blind spot around her shoulder. Murphy McNully invented this tactic shortly before the final match, and Jacob's sibling used it to successfully prevent Rath from hitting a Bludger at the opposing Seeker, who caught the Snitch and ended the match.[1]
