This book was a compilation of the various verses written by each successive Toast Giver of the Lee family during the Lee Family Toast for the rest of the family members. Each Toast Giver in turn was expected to memorise all the previous verses and recite them, whilst also producing new verses for new family members.[1]
History[]
The Lee Family Toast had been happening for many generations of the Lee family, so much so that no-one knew when it started. The book was similarly old. By the 1986–1987 school year, it was in the personal possession of Barnaby Lee's grandmother, who gave it to Barnaby Lee to study, as he was the appointed Toast Giver. When Barnaby and Jacob's sibling were trapped in Hogsmeade after getting a barrel of Butterbeer 1900, Leah Lee and Cecil Lee arrived with the book, which they had enchanted into a Portkey which took them home. After an argument about the time the Portkey was set to leave, they used the book to travel back to the Leaky Cauldron. Following Barnaby's recital of the Toast, the new verses he wrote were added to the book.

- The verses for Barnaby, Cecil, Barnaby's mother, and Leah are dependent on the player's choice.
- Additionally, whether or not the Lee family pets get a verse is also dependent on the player's choice.
- Barnaby Lee's mother and father didn't get verses since they weren't present during Barnaby Lee's recital.
- Whether or not Barnaby Lee's father and Cecil Lee's great-grandfather have verses is unknown since it is unknown if they brought a Toast Giver Guest with them.
