A book on Hippogriff-baiting was kept in the Legal Section of the Hogwarts Library.[1] The book potentially contained information relating to a legal case on Hippogriff-baiting where the Hippogriff had been let off.[2]
History[]
Following Buckbeak's attack on Draco Malfoy in September 1993, it was borrowed by Hermione Granger who then gave it to Rubeus Hagrid with the intention of finding a way to defend Buckbeak against execution.[1]
