This book provided information about several famous Curse-Breakers. The book included an entire chapter focused on Patricia Rakepick. Hogwarts student Wilfred Levi Kidd noted that all the Curse-Breakers mentioned had worked at Gringotts Wizarding Bank at some point in their careers.[2]
History[]
By the 1989–1990 school year, a copy of this book was kept in the library at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Jacob's sibling and Wilfred Levi Kidd read this book in the Hogwarts library so that Levi could begin learning more about curse-breaking. Jacob's sibling believed that the book's chapter on Patricia Rakepick needed an update following the revelation of her allegiance to the Dark wizard cabal R during their break-in of the Buried Vault the previous year.[2]
