""It was horrifying!" sobs Miss Boyle, "I can't believe he is dead! The place was in chaos, nobody knew what was happening or what to do!""
—Miss Boyle talks about the Shaw Fundraising Dinner, quoted on the 7 December, 1926 issue of The New York Star[src]

Miss Boyle was a No-Maj woman who was part of the upper echelons of New York society in the 1920s.[1]

She was one of the attendees of the fundraising dinner for the re-election of Senator Henry Shaw in December 1926. When the function was interrupted by Credence Barebone's Obscurus's attack on the Senator, Miss Boyle was at a loss as to what to do as chaos ensued. She later was quoted in a report on the incident published in The New York Star.[1]
