Bragbor's journals were a series of journals written by Bragbor, discussing the five repositories that he had been tasked to create within his lifetime, including one at Rookwood Castle, and another in the Keepers' Caverns beneath Hogwarts Castle.[2]
History[]
During Ranrok's goblin rebellion, Ranrok became adamant on finding the journals so that he could rediscover all the repositories of ancient magic that Bragbor had constructed. With the ability to find and control them all, he could succeed in his goal of goblin supremacy over wizardkind.[2]

Lodgok gives Ranrok the last journal of Bragbor
The last journal of Bragbor was owned by Lodgok, Ranrok's brother. Lodgok eventually gave the last journal to Ranrok, hoping that it would help them reconcile their differences, but an enraged Ranrok simply killed Lodgok for his perceived treason in keeping the diary a secret for so long.[1] Ranrok's seizure of the last journal enabled him to launch an invasion into the Keepers' Caverns for the final repository, leading to a consequential battle with the professors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and his eventual defeat at the hands of the new fifth-year student in 1891.[3]
