The Brazilian Ministry of Magic (Portuguese: Ministério da Magia Brasileiro), historically, the Ministry of Magic of the United States of Brazil (Portuguese: Ministério da Magia dos Estados Unidos do Brasil[3]) was the governing body of the wizarding community in Brazil.

In 1697, the Brazilian Ministry of Magic was founded.[1][4]

In the 1930s, its headquarters was located in Parque Lage, in Rio de Janeiro.
In 1932, the Brazilian Minister for Magic, Vicência Santos, ran for the office of Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, and succeeded after being chosen by the second Qilin. Brazilian wizards and witches celebrated her victory at Parque Lage by shooting golden yellow sparks from their wands into the sky.[5]
In 1993, the Ministry was proud to host the International Warlock Convention, a fact that made Daily Prophet headlines.[6]
