The Brazilian National Quidditch team is the national Quidditch team of Brazil. They reached the quarter-finals of the Quidditch World Cup in the 20th century. Brazil competed in the four-hundred and twenty-second Quidditch World Cup, in 1994.[1]
Brazil qualified for the 2014 Quidditch World Cup. Shortly before the opening games in April, manager José Barboza called the Welsh Chasers "talentless hags". After Welsh manager Gwenog Jones threatened to "curse [Barboza's] face off", Barboza insisted his original remark had been taken out of context.[2]
