During the 1990–1991 school year, the Healer, Dark wizard and "R" agent Eustace Burke broke into Gringotts Wizarding Bank.[2]
History[]
Burke, wearing a cap, attempted to break into the vault of Elric Parpidum,[1] in order to steal Chinese Fireball claws for a special potion.[2] Alastor Moody assigned Jacob's sibling, Nymphadora Tonks and Merula Snyde to investigate the crime scene and take witness statements from those present, as part of their Auror work experience. During their interview of Griphook, he refused to divulge the contents of the vault, citing client confidentiality.[1] Burke was later apprehended by Moody and Jacob's sibling at the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary.[2]
