Secrets Revealed was the name given to an event of the Calamity.[1]
Part I (26 July–2 August, 2021)[]

Harry and Hermione's quest to restore Ron's memories continues with a surge themed around their second year. Unfortunately, their plan to convict Greengrass stall. Will he be brought to justice or go free?[1]
Brilliant Hogwarts Hospital Wing[]
- "Any luck getting information out of Gareth Greengrass?"
- — Hermione Granger[src]
- "No, he's barely said a word since we took him into custody under suspicion of being a member of The Unforgivable. When he does speak, it's only to proclaim his innocence."
- — Harry Potter[src]
- "This isn't good, Harry. A confession made under the influence of Veritaserum won't hold up in court, especially not one obtained so... unconventionally. With our only other evidence circumstantial and no paper trail to be found, I'm not sure how much longer we can legally detain him."
- — Hermione Granger[src]
- "I know. It doesn't help that a number of Ministry officials, particularly those within the Department of Mysteries who have worked with Gareth for years, are calling for his release. Some even claim we used the Imperius Curse to get a false confession out of him."
- — Harry Potter[src]
- "We don't have time to entertain rumours. Don't forget, we still need to use this surge to restore Ron's memories of our second year of Hogwarts. Any moment we don't spend getting Gareth to talk, we should spend helping Ron."
- — Hermione Granger[src]

Brilliant Slytherin Seeker Draco Malfoy Return To: Slytherin common room, Hogwarts Castle |
Draco Malfoy began playing Quidditch during his second year at Hogwarts. He was selected to be the Slytherin Quidditch Team's Seeker, a position that frequently put him at odds with Harry Potter on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Though Draco was no slouch on the Quidditch pitch, there is some speculation that his father's donation of a fleet of Nimbus 2001 brooms secured his position on the team. |

Brilliant Flesh-Eating Slugs Return To: Hagrid's cabbage patch, Hogwarts Castle |
Flesh-eating slugs are magical creatures have been known to inhabit the grounds of Hogwarts. Rubeus Hagrid once remarked that they had a particular fondness for the school's cabbage patch. Unlike the slugs Ron vomited in his second year, these slugs excrete a corrosive mucus and are best removed by a specialised repellent. |

Brilliant Polyjuiced Hermione Granger Return To: Second-floor girls' lavatory, Hogwarts Castle |
An advanced student, Hermione Granger was capable of brewing Polyjuice Potion by her second year. She put this skill to use during an attempt to sneak into the Slytherin common room to ascertain the identity of Slytherin's heir. While Harry Potter and Ron Weasley successfully transformed into Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, Hermione's transformation did not go as planned. She spent several weeks in the Hospital Wing recovering after she accidentally used a piece of Millicent Bulstrode's cat's hair in her Polyjuice Potion. |

Brilliant Petrified Colin Creevey Return To: Hospital Wing, Hogwarts |
Colin Creevey was a first-year Gryffindor when the Chamber of Secrets was opened for the second time. An avid photographer, Colin could often be found taking pictures of his favourite subject, Harry Potter. During an attempt to sneak into the Hospital Wing to give Harry grapes, Colin encountered Slytherin's Basilisk. Though he was Petrified as a result, his camera's lens saved him from the full effects of the Basilisk's deadly gaze. |

Brilliant Ron Weasley’s Taped Wand Return To: Ronald Weasley |
During his second year at Hogwarts, Ron Weasley broke his wand in an accident involving his father's flying car and the school's Whomping Willow. Despite his attempt to repair it with Spello-tape, its magical capabilities were damaged beyond repair. Spells cast using the wand frequently backfired, a feature that actually ended up sparing Ron's memories. |

- "Where are you off to in such a hurry, Edward? Or should I say "Gareth"?"
- — Harry Potter[src]
- "I... I beg your pardon?"
- — Edward Scot[src]
- "Drop the act, Gareth. I know you talked a naive well-wisher into sneaking you your wand, used the Imperius Curse to force your guard to set you free, and are attempting to escape using Polyjuice Potion."
- — Harry Potter[src]
- "Have you lost your bloody mind? I don't even know who this "Gareth" is!"
- — Edward Scot[src]
- "I haven't lost anything, Gareth. But you? You're about to lose you freedom, your friends' trust, your future... I hope The Unforgivable were worth it."
- — Harry Potter[src]
Adversaries Event: Peter Pettigrew[]
Part II (9–16 August, 2021)[]

Greengrass refuses to divulge information on The Unforgivable, leaving Harry, Hermione and Constance at a loss. Will the team be able to get through to Gareth and convince him to cooperate?[1]
Brilliant Aragog's Lair[]
- "As expected, "Edward Scot" transformed back into Gareth Greengrass as soon as his Polyjuice Potion wore off. I've done some digging since then. As it turns out, there is no wizard named Edward Scot. He's actually a persona Gareth created using Muggle Kensington Millbottom's appearance."
- — Harry Potter[src]
- "So Gareth was cavorting around as the Head Unspeakable, a member of The Unforgivable and the Lead Liaison Minister of the Department of International Magical Co-operation all at the same time? When did he get any sleep?"
- — Constance Pickering[src]
- "He'll have plenty of time to catch up on it now. Thanks to his escape attempt and the Polyjuice Potion linking him to Ron's abduction, we have legal grounds to continue to detain him."
- — Hermione Granger[src]
- "True, but we still haven't convinced Gareth to cooperate. Without his insider information, it'll be difficult to shut down the rest of The Unforgivable, find Grim Fawley, rescue the London Five and stop the Calamity."
- — Harry Potter[src]
- "Intimidation and bargaining hasn't worked. Why don't we try a more empathetic approach to get him to talk? I suspect he'll be more receptive to that than any drastic interrogation measures."
- — Constance Pickering[src]

Brilliant Rubeus Hagrid Return To: Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts Castle |
Rubeus Hagrid was a third year student at Hogwarts when the Chamber of Secrets was first opened. Tom Riddle, the one responsible for the Petrifications and the death of Myrtle Warren, placed the blame on Hagrid and his pet Acromantula, Aragog. Though Hagrid was expelled, Albus Dumbledore intervened and Hagrid was allowed to stay on as Hogwarts Gamekeeper. Suspicion towards Hagrid arose again when the Chamber was re-opened in 1993. While he was sent to Azkaban for a time, Hagrid was eventually proven innocent. |

Brilliant Acromantula eggs Return To: Forbidden Forest, Hogwarts |
Acromantula eggs are, on average, roughly the size of beach balls. Female Acromantulas are capable of laying up to one hundred eggs at a time, resulting in rather large familial colonies. Aragog, Rubeus Hagrid's pet Acromantula, established one such colony in the Forbidden Forest with his mate, Mosag. |

Brilliant Fang Return To: Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts Castle |
It's said that dog is man's best friend, and never was this more true than with Rubeus Hagrid and Fang. Fang was a large, black dog Hagrid raised from a pup. Despite what his name and his booming bark would suggest, he was quite cowardly. Even so, Fang accompanied Harry Potter and Ron Weasley - albeit reluctantly - on many adventures, including into the Forbidden Forest. |

Brilliant Wild Weasley’s Flying Car Return To: Forbidden Forest, Hogwarts |
Arthur Weasley's flying car was once an ordinary Muggle vehicle. Through a questionable decision, Arthur magically modified it to fly and turn invisible. After missing the Hogwarts Express in their second year, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley flew it to Hogwarts, where it crashed into the Whomping Willow. Afterwards it escaped into the Forbidden Forest, only reappearing to rescue Harry, Ron, and Fang from Aragog's children. |

- "You've done terrible things, Gareth. Unforgivable things deserving of a life sentence in Azkaban. But while I absolutely don't condone what you did, I understand why you felt you had no choice but to do them.
You were desperate to cure your daughter's blood malediction. And, as you once told me, desperation drives people to do things they'd never be capable of otherwise." - — Harry Potter[src]
- "Is this the part where you offer to help Cereus in exchange for my cooperation?"
- — Gareth Greengrass[src]
- "No, this is where I give you my word that, regardless of your cooperation, I'll reopen your brother's case and do everything in my power to find a cure for Cereus. Not because I expect anything from it, but because it's the right thing to do."
- — Harry Potter[src]
- "I know better than to believe the word of a Ministry employee... but something tells me you're not lying. Perhaps we can reach an agreement after all, Harry Potter..."
- — Gareth Greengrass[src]
