Brondby is a municipality in eastern Denmark.[1]
History[]
By at least the 2010s, a Calamity Investigator working for the Statute of Secrecy Task Force found a large number of fire-breathing chickens underneath an inn in Brondby. As the creatures had become a delicacy after being revealed to actually exist to wizardkind at large, the Calamity Investigator brought the chickens back to the British Ministry of Magic. As a reward for their efforts, Minister for Magic Hermione Granger secured higher-energy meals at wizarding bed and breakfast inns for the Calamity Investigator.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
- In the real world, the correct spelling of the name of the municipality is Brøndby, but when referred to in the Harry Potter universe in canon sources, it isn't spelled with the "ø".
