Bronze is a dense, soft shiny brown alloy with a low value as money.[1] The most common use for bronze in the wizarding world was in the Knut.[2][3]
History[]
The exterior doors of Gringotts Wizarding Bank were made of bronze, with more valuable metals used for interior doors.[2] The handle of the drawing room at Malfoy Manor was also made of bronze.[4] Bronze was also one of the colours associated with Ravenclaw house, along with blue.[5]
The Moving Statue located in Paris was a bronze magical statue, that served as the entrance to Place Cachée for wizards and witches.[6][7]
Burgock, a goblin employed at Gringotts, suffered from a bronze allergy; for that reason, he made an effort to propose the abolishment of the Knut in the late 20th century.[8]
