A Knut, which is made of bronze

Bronze is a dense, soft shiny brown alloy with a low value as money and is used in jewellery in both muggle and wizarding world. The most common use for bronze in the wizarding world is in the Knut.

The exterior doors of Gringotts Wizarding Bank were made of bronze, with more valuable metals used for interior doors.[1] The handle of the drawing room at Malfoy Manor was also made of bronze.[2] Bronze is also one of the colours associated with the Ravenclaw house, despite the fact that it often is represented with as blue and silver.
