- Severus Snape: "Know what it is?"
- Harry Potter: "Bubble Juice, sir?"
- Severus Snape: "Veritaserum."
- — Severus Snape showing Harry Potter Veritaserum[src]
Bubble Juice was presumably a magical juice, given its name. It apparently bore a resemblance to the truth serum Veritaserum, as Harry Potter once thought the Veritaserum that Professor Snape stored in his storeroom to be bubble juice. Snape accused Harry of stealing Gillyweed and the ingredients for Polyjuice Potion, and thus threatened to use Veritaserum on him.[1] It turned out that Barty Crouch Jnr (disguised as Alastor Moody) was the real culprit.[2]
