A bulrush is any one of several species of superficially similar but unrelated reed-like plants that grow in marshes.[1] In Great Britain, the term most commonly referrers to plants of the genus Typha, also known as cattails.[2]
The most common form taken by the Kelpie, a shape-shifting water demon, was a horse with a mane of bulrushes.[3]
The emblem of Puddlemere United consisted of two crossed golden bulrushes.[4]
