Calvin Maurice Engelbert Farrell was a British wizard and co-owner of Uncommon Creatures Pet Shop.[1]
Biography[]
He, along with his wife Wilhelmina, operated Uncommon Creatures Pet Shop in Barnton, where they sold pets, whether domestic or imported. They had imported animals illegally, contrary to regulations by the British Ministry of Magic, prompting an investigation.[1]
On 7 September 2004, a search of the pet shop's cellar uncovered 111 unlicensed Acromantula eggs, 7 Fire Crabs, 6 juvenile Tebos, 33 recently hatched Ashwinders, and one (1) sable ferret (which turned out to be an unlicensed Animagus named Harold Ruddle, whom the Farrells had unknowingly kept in captivity for six months). In February 2008, he was sentenced to 50 months in Azkaban.[1]
