Candyfloss is a spun sugary confection which resembles cotton in appearance.[4]

The Circus Arcanus in the 1920s sold candyfloss at its venues, including its Paris venue in 1927.[1][2]
Candyfloss was a known Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans flavour.[5]
Candyfloss was one of the many confectionery products sold at Honeydukes.[3] They also sold a similar variant known as Doxy Floss.[6]
Harry Potter's first impression of Xenophilius Lovegood at the Wedding of William Weasley and Fleur Delacour in 1997 was an eccentric-looking wizard with slightly crossed eyes, with shoulder-length white hair the texture of candyfloss.[7]
