The Captain's badge was a distinctive sign on the Captain of the Hogwarts Quidditch teams.
Description[]
Like Prefects, Hogwarts Quidditch Captains were given a silver badge to wear on their school uniform, and on their Quidditch robes when they were playing in a match or practising. However, a prefect on the Quidditch team would not be required to wear his or her prefect badge on his or her Quidditch robes. The captain's badge was suspected to have the letter 'C' on it for 'Captain', as the prefect's badge had 'P' for 'Prefect', and the Head Boy's and Head Girl's had 'HB' and 'HG' respectively.

Oliver Wood was seen wearing the badge in the 1991–1992[2] and the 1992–1993[3] school years when he was captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team.
Harry Potter received the badge with his letters and book lists from Hogwarts in the summer holidays of 1996. Ron Weasley stated that Charlie Weasley used to wear one during his captaincy of the Gryffindor Quidditch team.[1] Harry wore the badge in the Gryffindor common room where Katie Bell saw it and joyfully remarked that she had predicted him would get it.[4]
