Carlsen Verlag is the German publisher of the Harry Potter book series by J. K. Rowling. It secured the rights for all German translations at an early stage.[citation needed]
Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the two initial Hogwarts Library companion books written by Joanne K. Rowling as a foundation for Comic Relief, have also been translated and published by Carlsen Verlag, later The Tales of Beedle the Bard as well.
The German editions of all the books in the Harry Potter series published by Carlsen are produced by "HörVerlag" as audiobooks on audio media.
