These tenants occupied The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop in the 1890s, but ended up having "rotten bad luck", presumably because of the effects of the shop being haunted by a poltergeist named Fastidio. In reality, the shop's owner Cassandra Mason lured unsuspecting people into the shop so they would enter Fastidio's chest and be turned mad by the poltergeist inside, with them being sent to St Mungo's as a result.[1] As they lived in Hogsmeade, an all-wizarding village,[2] they would most likely have been wizards or witches, if not other beings.
