Cassandra Vole's wand was 10 inches in length, made of holly with a Veela hair core.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
- This wand is the second wand known to have a Veela hair core, after Fleur Delacour's. The core suggests that it was not made by Garrick Ollivander, as he had specialised in using only three types of wand cores which he called the Supreme Cores.[3]
- It's possible that, since Cassandra's great-grandmother was a Veela, she gave one of her hairs to be used as the wand's core, just like Fleur's grandmother did.
- Cassandra's wand has the same wood (Holly) as that of Harry Potter's wand.
