Cattermole was the surname of a wizarding family with both magical and Muggle heritage.[1]
History[]
During the Second Wizarding War, when Lord Voldemort was in control of the Ministry of Magic, the Cattermoles came under scrutiny because Mary Cattermole was a Muggle-born witch.[1]
Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley freed her from the Muggle-Born Registration Commission and advised the Cattermoles to flee the country while the Death Eaters were in power.[1] It is unknown if they took this advice.
