The Cauldron to Guitar Spell (incantation unknown) was a Transfiguration spell that could transform a cauldron into a guitar.[1]
History[]
During the 1985–1986 school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the spell was known by the Weird Sisters, who taught it to Jacob's sibling in order for them to get a bass for their performance. They used this spell on one of the cauldrons in the Transfiguration classroom.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- When Myron first mentions this spell, he refers to it as a spell to turn cauldrons into bass guitars, but when learning the spell, the text simply refers to this spell as Cauldron to Guitar Spell. Because of that, it is unknown if this spell could be used to transform cauldrons into other types of guitars as well.
