- "Suit of armour generally possessed by a ghoul, ghost or spectre."
- — Folio Bruti.[src]
A cavalier was the name given to the Royalist supporters of King Charles I and his son Charles II during the English Civil War, the Interregnum, and the Restoration (1642 – c. 1679).[1]
There were many cavalier suits of armour at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, under spectral possession. They could be aggressive to passers-by, but were particularly vulnerable to the Incendio and Glacius spells.[2]
