Chauncey Clearwater was a wizard who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the 21st century.
Biography[]
Chauncey was born at some point between 1990 and 1997, as he attended Hogwarts during the same time as an unidentified Muggle-born Hogwarts student was in their first year. He was friends with fellow student Hannah Wellengood and, after hearing about how bad of a day she had been having, went to find her. When he finally found her hiding on the grounds of Hogwarts, she initially refused to return to their common room. However, when he told her that a first year student was giving out Cauldron Cakes, she returned with him.[3]
In December 2010, he talked to his friend Hannah about their recent visit to Hogsmeade. She told him she didn't want to go back there. He was confused because he thought they had a great time. She responded that she did, but she didn't want to go back there in case she had a bad time there in the future and it ruined her memory of it. Chauncey called her "hopeless".[3]
