The Chelmondiston Charge was a Quidditch tactic, used to score a goal. A Chaser in possession of the Quaffle would stand up on top of their broomstick, and then leap, thrusting the Quaffle in the direction of one of the three goalposts.[1]
Etymology[]
- Chelmondiston is a small civil parish in Suffolk, England. Based on this, the Chelmondiston Charge was presumably invented or pioneered by a Quidditch team from this area.
