A cherry is a small fruit, usually consisting of two small red fruits, each having their own stems connected by a small tip at the top. They were an ingredient of the Invisibility Potion.[1]

The wood of the cherry tree was used in making wands.[2]

The oak-matured mead which poisoned Ronald Weasley possessed subtle hints of liquorice and cherry.[3]

Cherries were sometimes served with drinks in the Three Broomsticks. On Valentine's Day 1996, Hermione Granger fished a cherry out of the bottom of her glass as she instructed Rita Skeeter to begin her interview with Harry Potter regarding the Return of Lord Voldemort.[4]
