A cherry is a small fruit, usually consisting of two small red fruits, each having their own stems connected by a small tip at the top. They are an ingredient of the Invisibility Potion.

The branches or wood of cherry tree is also used in making wands.

The oak-matured mead which poisoned Ronald Weasley possessed subtle hints of licorice and cherry.

Cherries are sometimes served with drinks in the Three Broomsticks. On Valentine's Day 1996, Hermione Granger fished a cherry out of the bottom of her glass as she instructed Rita Skeeter to begin her interview with Harry Potter regarding the Rebirth of Tom Riddle.[1]
