The chess knight chair was a chair that looked like a chess piece, with the colour of white or black and a checkered pattern on the backrest.[1]

Chess knight chairs were part of the Chess Puzzle, which was located in Poidsear Coast, Scottish Highlands, in the late 19th century.[1]
