Chicken Lips were an ingredient used for making potions.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- In the real-world, chickens do not have lips.
- "Chicken Lips" is explicitly identified in Disc 2 of the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone DVD: Go to Classroom, then Potions, and then into the Quiz. It, along with Asphodel, Wormwood, and Eye of Newt, were selectable options in test tubes, with no distinctive form and just liquid-looking substances with colours.[1]
- Curiously, there's an English band named Chicken Lips.[2]
