Chinese Fortune Sticks is a Western name for the ancient Chinese method of divination known as kau cim. It is considered the oldest known method of fortune-telling, at least by humans, and involves wooden sticks that tell the user's daily fortune. Containers of Chinese Fortune Sticks, consisting of seventy-eight sticks each, have been sold at Zonko's Joke Shop since the 1990s.[1]
