A chipolata is a type of fresh sausage believed to have originated in France. Chipolatas have become popular in Great Britain, where they are often served at Christmas dinner, wrapped in bacon.[1]
Chipolatas were a part of the Christmas feast at Hogwarts.[2] Albus Dumbledore seemed especially fond of them, and, at the Christmas feast in 1993, he offered some to a first-year student named Derek.[3]
