Chipping Clodbury was a town in England. It was the site of the Chipping Clodbury riot.[1] At some point, goblin riots broke out in the town. The event was later reported by the Daily Prophet.[1]
Etymology[]
Chipping Clodbury was presumably named after Chipping Sodbury, a real town in Glouchestershire, England where J. K. Rowling was born. "Chipping" is a prefix in several English place names and indicates that the town was once home to a market.
