The Chipping Clodbury riot occurred in the town of Chipping Clodbury during a meeting between British Ministry of Magic officials and the Brotherhood of Goblins.[1]
History[]
The meeting was to discuss the creation of a Bill of Goblin Rights, but was interrupted by a group of goblins who had obtained wands. They transfigured bins and post boxes, caused a shed and some shrubbery to explode, and chanted B.O.G slogans.[2] Officials from the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement worked to successfully cover up the incidents from the town's Muggle population.[1]
