Chocolate liqueur was a liqueur with a principal flavour of chocolate.[1]
History[]
Someone (whether a fellow portrait or another of the Castle's denizens) accused the Fat Lady of drinking all of it, a comment she found very insulting.[2]
The Fat Lady and her friend Violet were seen looking rather tipsy with boxes of chocolate liqueurs littered around them in December of the year 1994.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- On Pottermore, the verb used for the consumption of chocolate liqueurs is "eat" instead of "drink".[3]
- "The Fat Lady eating chocolate liqueurs" is one out of the thirty-two options generated by an old feature[4] on Pottermore, "Wonderful wizarding world happiness generator", which was about things that could cast away the Blue Monday blues.[5] The description for The Fat Lady eating chocolate liqueurs was "The Fat Lady seemed to be an absolute party animal, and we have been most amused by her mad shenanigans. Our favorite time was when she got a bit giggly with her mate, Violet".[3]
