Chris RiddellOBE (born 13 April 1962), is a British illustrator and occasional writer of children's books and a political cartoonist for The Observer. Books he wrote or illustrated have won three Nestlé Smarties Book Prizes and have been silver or bronze runners-up four times.[3]

He became the first ever triple winner of the Greenaway Medals in 2016.[4]

In 2018, he illustrated the UK version of the Illustrated Edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard.[5]
